Employee Engagement
At Berry Technical, we understand fully the value to our and our clients' organisations of developing employees who are skilled, knowledgeable, committed to achieving their own potential and fully engaged in supporting the development of the wider business objectives.
When we look at the key drivers of employee engagement, the Institute of Employment Studies IES defines engagement as:
"A positive attitude held by the employee towards the organisation and its values. An engaged employee is aware of business context, and works with colleagues to improve performance within the job for the benefit of the organisation. The organisation must work to develop and nurture engagement, which requires a two-way relationship between employer and employee."
At Berry Technical, throughout our organisation and in all our client engagements, we seek to monitor not just employee satisfaction but also a more comprehensive assessment of employees’ engagement with the business and their role in its development. Encouraging our staff to learn more about the industries and sectors in which our clients operate both broadens their own knowledge and helps them operate more as trusted advisors and partners to our clients, adding value on all sides.
Our latest Employee Engagement survey, conducted in March 2011, showed that overall our employees felt appreciated and that they had been given opportunities to grow and develop.
Berry Technical. Intelligent recruitment solutions.
"After disappointing experiences with other recruitment consultants, I was lucky enough to make contact with Berry Technical. I was kept updated throughout the recruitment process and was fully briefed about the role before I attended the interview. It was a pleasure to work with them."
